The MSGA board and staff attends events nationwide to receive education and training that they then share with the MSGA members at the state and local levels across Montana. By attending these national meetings, MSGA staff and board are updated on current cattle industry issues and cattle events.

The grants also send staff and board to legislative meetings in Washington DC. In addition, funds help with other educational elements such as purchasing farm and ranch data to drive MSGA membership.
